Influence operations

Using AI to produce or distribute content while hiding identity, sponsorship, or sources, so audiences misjudge who is speaking.

Definition

The key is not the viewpoint but the deception: hiding who is behind the content, who pays for it, and where it comes from.

Volume does not equal reach. Without evidence that content broke out of the actor's own network, you cannot say it influenced real users.
